Primitives are the basic elements in the canvas, such as points, lines, curves, and so on.

To select a single graphic element, click it (the border turns pink when it is selected) or box select it (the selected state is shown in the figure ). For box selection, simply make the box touch the graphic element.

For select multiple elements, perform a box selection that touches multiple elements simultaneously.

You can also hold down the "Ctrl" key, click the desired element with the mouse, and then release the "Ctrl" key to complete the selection.
