How to draw a curved line followed by a straight line?

If you want to draw a curve that ends in a straight line, follow these steps:

1) Use the Pen tool to drag to create the first smooth point of the curved segment, then release the mouse button.

2) Reposition the Pen tool where you want the curved segment to end, drag to complete the curve, then release the mouse button.

3) The end position of the curved segment will be starting point of the straight segment. Use the "Pen" tool to locate the endpoint of the straight segment (do not drag).

4) Select the "Assisted Selection" tool, click the starting point of the straight line segment to make the direction line appear, and then double-click the direction point in the direction of the curve to complete the straight line.

If you want to draw a curve with a straight line in the middle, do the following:

3) Select the "Assisted Selection" tool, click the starting point of the curve segment that needs to be converted into a straight segment to make the direction line appear. Double-click the direction points at the begining and the end cruve to complete the straight segment.
