1) Use the Pen tool to click corner points in two locations to create straight line segments.

2) Position your mouse where you want the next anchor point, then click and drag this new anchor point to complete the curve.

Note: If you want to adjust the shape of the other side of the curve segment, click the "Assisted Selection" tool  , double-click on the anchor point to be adjusted, and drag the direction line to make adjustments.
